T & W IDE LTD is one of the most experienced and oldest independent glass and framing companies of its kind in the UK. The Group was established in 1830, although glass processing has been carried out on the Glasshouse Fields site for over 400 years.
The three Specialist Divisions in the company are:
TWIDE PARAGON manufacture and install framed glazing systems including patent glazing, rooflights, curtain walling, windows, doors and ground floor treatments. The company manufactures the Paragon patent glazing system, the Twide-Lite range of rooflights and the Schuco aluminium system.
T & W IDE FIRE PRODUCTS is a very experienced manufacturer of fire resistant screens to a variety of situations. We can offer systems manufactured from both Jansen and Forster steel systems in addition to Schuco’s aluminium system and our own Steel system, the only system tested to a fire resistance of 120 minutes for integrity and insulation.
T & W IDE GLAZING supply and install custom made structurally glazed systems, including frameless glass structures using standard, proprietary or purpose made bolted systems. The company also offer toughened glass door and screen assemblies, glass balustrades, glass floors and glass partitions.
